The Messengers Ministry Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the living word or God. Every word in it is breathed by the Holy Spirit for our benefit.

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he came to earth to forgive our sins and heal us in every way possible; Spirit, Soul and Body. We stand on the scriptures in Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24 that state the following: Our sins have been covered by the Blood of Jesus and sickness and pain were covered under the stripes of Jesus.

We believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father (God), found in John 14:6.

We believe to truly have eternal life you need to do the following. Repent of your sins and believe alone on Jesus as your Savior. See Romans 10:9-10,13 and Acts 3:9. There also has to be a true change of heart and not just some words you say. You will know it if you begin to despise the things of the world you used to do.

We believe the gift of the Holy Spirit is alive and available for everyone who wants it. This did not end with the disciples of Jesus as some state today. See Luke 11:10-13

We believe that everyone should be water baptized to show that you have died to your old self and have been rise up with Christ. See Matthew 28:16-20 (The Great Commission of Jesus for all believers)

We believe that every person can have a personal relationship with God.
